When you don’t want the “typical” Newburgh Indiana senior pics because you want a unique experience that incorporates your wildest dreams. For Josie, a Castle High School senior, her dream was to take pictures in a field with horses.

Newburgh Indiana senior pics with Josie were taken at a fabulous location in Henderson, KY. Josie dreamed of having her senior pictures in a field with horses and we delivered! My first task was to find a local place with horses that would allow Josie and I to come out to explore and take pictures. I contacted Bill Fiddler of Rolling Hills Equestrian Center. This center partners with Healing Reins of Kentucky which is an organization that assists individuals with special needs. You can check out more information here. Not only are the organization and the owners amazing people, but the property is absolutely breathtaking.

Typically our seniors select up to 4 locations for their senior experience session, however, Josie wanted to spend her 2 hour session in different areas of the equestrian center. For Josies first outfit, she wore her Ford jacket and we took pictures in front of her Bronco. This gave the horses some time to eat breakfast before we began interacting with them.

It was now time to get some pictures with horses! Josie changed into her white dress and brown boots and we went right inside the fence. Bill had told us to bring peppermints to get the horses attention, and that worked really quickly! The horses came right up to us and Josie just had the best time playing with them. There were 3 horses in that field that were very curious as to what we were doing and what we had in our hands or pockets.

Can I Bring My Dog to My Senior Portrait Session?

I get asked a lot if you can bring your dog to your session. Of course you can! If they are a part of your life and important to you, then I 100% want you to bring your dog. I do send you out some tips and tricks before your session so that we get some awesome photos. Josie brought along her dog, Bear. He is the cutest little dog and Josie pretty much takes him everywhere. He had fun running around the farm and chasing his best friend. Castle High School Senior Pictures

Josie will be graduating Castle High School in 2025! Josie is also a part of the Klem Photography model team and plays beach volleyball. She didn’t want the “typical” Newburgh Indiana senior pics. She wanted a unique experience and we, here at Klem Photography, are all about creating an experience that showcases what you love.
