As tears strolled down Brianna and Anthony's face as I handed them their album, I sat there smiling with them. I was in awe of their expressions. They talked about how they remembered exactly how the day went. As I sat there in that moment, I got butterflies in my stomach and a huge smile on my face. It was so clear as to why I do what I do- life is an inspiring story with big celebrations that deserve to be remembered in the most meaningful ways. I knew from that moment that this was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.
I haven't always been a photographer. It wasn't until my youngest daughter was born that I decided to buy a "nice camera." As soon as I received it I remembered thinking that I was just going to get good enough to take pictures of my own family and friends. As I continued learning and growing I had a reckoning that I could use the gift that God has blessed me with to serve others. Here I am today, almost 6 years later and now I am photographing couples and high-school seniors full time.
I don't just care about the pictures, I care about you and creating memorable experiences that you will treasure for years to come. You deserve more than being treated like a number.
