Henderson County High School Senior Pictures

When its comes to senior pictures at Henderson County High School for guys, there are several factors you want to consider to make sure you capture his personality and style.

Here are a few tips:

1. Schedule a consult before his senior pictures when he is available. This involves him in the planning process, so that I can meet him & find out about what he wants to do.

2. Some senior boys might cringe at the thought of formal, posed photographs. Show him images on our website to get them excited. We used a very relaxed and casual approach.

3.) Have him incorporate something he loves such as sports gear, musical instruments, or even their pets. This will help them feel more comfortable and allow their personality to shine through the pictures.   

4. Go shopping!  Maybe he’s been wanting some new kicks or a new outfit- it’s his!

5. Tell him how important this is to you as a parent.  Encourage & explain that these portraits will serve as a reminder of his awesome high school years.

7.) Choose the right photographer. Selecting a photographer who specializes in senior portraits and understands the unique dynamics of photographing boys can make a world of difference. We create an environment where they feel comfortable and confident, bringing out their personality to capture genuine emotions. This results in photos that both the senior and his family will cherish.

Baseball Senior Pictures at Henderson County High School

Cadens fall senior session started at Henderson County High School. We met at the baseball stadium and started his senior session in the dug out. The baseball stadium is getting a whole new overhaul, so the roof was off of the dugout. This worked out perfectly for me to let in that natural light! We then walked over in front of the scoreboard to get some images of Caden with his glove and batting. The batting images can be tricky to capture just right, but I think we got the perfect image here! BUT, that image with Caden leaning on the fence in black and white, was my most favorite image. His parents loved that image so much, they purchased a large wall portrait of it to hang right in their livingroom.

I love helping my families create something really unique, and this large metal print, will definitely be a conversation starter!

Fall Senior Portraits Henderson KY

We then made a quick stop at downtown Henderson KY to take some pictures with the I love Henderson sign newly created by the Henderson Leadership Initiative. It was a very windy day, so we didn’t stay long. But I do love the classic portrait we achieved here with the bridge in the background.

Caden was then ready to head out to Sandy Lee Watkins park and change into something warmer. I LOVE the flannel he chose. The park allows us to achieve many different looks at one location. We took pictures in front of the pond, on the bridge, and with the fall trees in the background. For Cadens last look we drove back to the lake and he put on his letterman jacket.
